I mean just look at it! Imagine flying her in the heat of battle especially these late war beasts. Over 2000HP, 5 blade propeller bigger and faster than even, better armed...Is it any wonder the Spitfire is everyone's favourite war bird

Goering a monte un centre de réparation pour Focke a CRAVANT près d Auxerre dans l yonne. les sites autour de Paris, Villacoublaye etc... était trop expose.

I think the p-38 was lefty gardners plane at one time. he performed at Reno & it was amazing

Years ago in a small air show in new smyrna beach fla there was a magnificant experimental spitfire in 7/8 scale. As a kid growing up early fifties just loved aircraft. The design lines of the spit are just breath taking. My wife who is naturally gifted in design and color stated this plane in life is one beautiful thing to behold. Yeah the supermarine spit was a top runway model of her era.

Merveilleux avion. Comme le pilote. Comme tous les pilotes d'ailleurs ! Les meetings de la Ferte-Alais sont superbes. Fut un temps ou je pouvais voir souvent ce See Fury à Darois. Beau sujet de modelisme que je possède.

Without a doubt two of the luckiest pilots alive to be able to fly these incredible war birds as their career. A dream job for a very very select few pilots. Kudo's to Red Bull for keeping these historic time pieces not only in "better than new" condition, but flying these birds regularly in front of crowds to allow people to see, hear, smell, these incredible machines in flight. At some point in the future, even these machines will be destined to a museum. Hopefully they continue to fly for many years to come.

Flies effortlessly, surprisingly quiet, tidy cockpit, beautiful outside. Corsair is such a magnificent aircraft.
